We got to Barcelona on time on the overnight flight from Atlanta.   We then had to change terminals to get a local flight to Sevilla, which is not as easy to do as in some airports.  We had to take a bus clear around the airport which took longer than expected.  We finally got to our gate as they were boarding, and all got on, even with one straggler that needed a coffee fix.  The plane was an airbus 320, which was the most cramped plane I think I’ve ever been on!  My knees were jammed into the seat in front of me literally!  When we got to Sevilla, our luggage didn’t…supposedly they didn’t have enough time to transfer them between planes.  I can now see that, after having experienced how long it took us to get from one terminal to the other.   The problem being that the hotel we are staying in for the first two nights is 1 1/2 hours from the airport.  Three of our team eventually volunteered to go back to the airport to get the luggage, even though two of them didn’t even check any luggage.

All that to say, it was soooo nice to finally get to the hotel!  The picture here is looking out from the hotel lobby to the town of Aracena.  No, it’s not a painting or picture on the wall, that’s the real view!

After it took forever to checkin with our group, we headed to the Sky Lounge to relax before our long flight to Spain.  In the picture we are headed up the escalator to Concourse E.

Since I’m heading to Spain tomorrow, I thought this would be an appropriate picture today.

I took this just after getting home from some mountain biking.

There are a lot of interesting buildings in Buckhead.  Lots of good reflective surfaces to get interesting photos.  Luckily it was a pretty clear day to get both clouds and blue sky.

Today in trying to find something to take a picture of, I had to turn down a couple good shot in Buckhead since I was driving and couldn’t stop or pull over….better to be safe.  So I had to find some more normal everyday things to take some pictures of.  Not as exotic, but hopefully somewhat interesting.

Some pictures playing in the yard and dinner out.  This is making me think of new things and places to take pictures.

Trying to see if I can do the 365 thing…take at least 1 picture every day for a year.  Well see….

I will be posting some photos I’ve taken to share and get feedback from others.  Hopefully this will help me improve my technique and figure out new ways of approaching taking pictures and getting more artistic shots.
