Yesterday afternoon I shot a portrait session with Jonathan, who I will be shooting his Bar-Mitzvah on Sunday.  It was fun yet challenging shoot due to the lighting inside the synagogue.  Sunday will be an interesting time since I’m new to this type of event and what to expect.

Afterwards I went to a shoot with a local photography club I’m part of.  When we got to the location where we usually shoot, we found that they were shooting some scenes for the latest Fast and the Furious movie next door.  A few of us wandered over and around where they were shooting and got a few shots which are my photos for today’s photo.

I decided to try my old Nikon D1X today.  Had to charge the batter first since I haven’t used it in a LONG time.  Can you see any difference since it’s only 5.5 mexapixel?  I hate to admit that when I was using it before I pretty much always used it in program mode…*grin*  It definitely isn’t as easy to use in manual mode as my D700 as far as getting to the settings as quickly and easily.
